Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or running a scan, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use Owedio.
2. What Owedio is
Owedio is a software service that helps users discover, prepare, and track claims for money they may be owed by official sources (state treasuries, federal agencies, settlement administrators).
Owedio is not a law firm, government agency, or public adjuster. Owedio does not file claims on your behalf without your explicit approval. Recovery is never guaranteed. Owedio does not control whether an agency pays out a claim.
3. Eligibility & account
You must be 18+ and a U.S. resident to use Owedio. You're responsible for keeping your password secure. One account per person.
4. Payments & refunds
Concierge service pricing is custom — fees are agreed in writing before any work begins.
5. User responsibilities
- Information you provide (name, addresses, eligibility quiz answers) must be accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You authorize Owedio to act as your preparation agent on a specific claim only after you click Approve and sign.
- You're responsible for reviewing the claim packet before approval and for any agency response.
6. Prohibited use
- Submitting false identity information or impersonating someone else.
- Using Owedio to file claims on behalf of a third party without their written authorization.
- Scraping, reverse-engineering, or interfering with the service.
7. Intellectual property
The Owedio platform, source catalog, matching engine, and generated claim kits are owned by Owedio Inc. You retain ownership of your scan inputs and any documents you upload.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Owedio is provided "AS IS" without warranties. We do not guarantee that any specific match will result in recovery. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the prior 12 months.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via Concierge. We may suspend accounts for fraud, abuse, or repeated Terms violations.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes resolved in the state or federal courts of New Castle County, Delaware.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be emailed to you at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
